Scan barcodes and shoot photos back to back — the viewfinder stays up between pieces. Review the batch once, add them all, and print the labels in the same pass. Phone only.
Take your vault, AI curator, and live-auction Snipe wherever you collect. With Offline access enabled, your saved vault is still there when the signal drops. Available on iPhone, iPad, and Android, with desktop alphas for Mac and Windows.
Mac and Windows are early versions: you may encounter bugs or unfinished features. Your feedback helps us improve them. Report a bug or share feedback.
The Mac download is Developer ID–signed and notarized by Apple, so macOS lets it run with no security warning or block. The Windows installer is not code-signed yet, so Windows will warn you before it runs it — here is what to expect.
We plan to bring the desktop apps to the Mac App Store and Microsoft Store after testing and store approval.
Edit your collection as a spreadsheet, drag in CSVs, photos and receipts, run On Air outputs in their own windows, and Snipe straight off your screen. Unzip, drag CHOIL into your Applications folder, and updates install from inside the app.
CHOIL for Mac is signed with our Apple Developer ID and notarized by Apple, so macOS checks it with Apple the first time you open it and lets it through. You will not see “unidentified developer”, “damaged”, or any other security warning, and you never need to right-click to open it or turn off a macOS setting. macOS may ask you once to confirm you want to open an app downloaded from the internet — that prompt is normal for every download and is not a warning about CHOIL.
If macOS ever does warn you about a CHOIL download, do not work around it — tell us instead.
A native desktop app with spreadsheet editing, drag and drop, and separate On Air output windows. Run the installer, then sign in with your usual CHOIL account. Updates are manual for now: download the newer installer and run it over the top.
The installer is not code-signed yet, so Windows treats CHOIL as an app it has not seen before. Nothing is wrong with the download; this is what Windows shows for any new app from a publisher it does not recognize.
We are working towards a signed installer and a Microsoft Store listing. Signing quiets this warning as Windows builds trust in our certificate, and a Store install would keep CHOIL updated for you. If a download ever looks different from this, tell us before running it.

Offline access is optional and account-specific. Saved copies stay on this device until you turn the setting off or sign out.

Turn on Offline access in Settings to keep your vault and sold pieces, sub-vaults, daily carry, maintenance, labels, wishlists, and their photos on the device.
Add a piece or edit specs with no connection — changes queue on the device, marked as pending, and sync themselves when you're back online. Photos, labels, and sold flows wait for a connection, and say so.
When CHOIL detects a reconnection or starts online, it checks the server again. If Wi-Fi regains internet without a reconnect event, tap Refresh in Settings.
Pull down on Collection, Sold, knife details and photos, Maintenance, Trash, Wishlists, or a wishlist item to check the server immediately — even on an empty or error screen.
After taking a photo from a knife's Photos screen, crop, rotate, flip, straighten, tune the color, or apply a filter before uploading it.
Every record has a permanent inventory number. Print one item, a number range, or the active vault on Avery 5160/5163 sheets or 50 × 30 mm thermal rolls. Scanning a printed label's QR opens that record right here in the app, after sign-in.
