Official Rules.
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. A FREE CHOIL ACCOUNT IS ALL YOU NEED. EVERY ENTRY — FREE OR PRO — HAS IDENTICAL ODDS.
1. Sponsor
Each CHOIL giveaway ("Giveaway") is sponsored and administered by Airglow LLC, a Kansas limited liability company, operator of CHOIL (choil.app) ("Sponsor", "we"). Contact: support@choil.app. Giveaways are not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Apple Inc. or Google LLC, and entrants release both from all liability in connection with any Giveaway.
2. Eligibility
Open to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry and hold a CHOIL account (free accounts qualify fully). Employees, contractors, and staff of Sponsor, and members of their immediate households, are not eligible to win. Void where prohibited or restricted by law.
3. Entry period & prize
Each Giveaway's entry period, prize description, and approximate retail value ("ARV") are stated on the giveaway page at choil.app/giveaways and are incorporated into these rules by reference. Entries must be received within the stated entry period.
4. How to enter — no purchase necessary
Entry is through the CHOIL app. Sign in to your free CHOIL account in the CHOIL app for iOS or Android and press Enter on the Giveaways screen. That is free, and it is the entire entry method. Entrants receive one (1) entry; CHOIL Pro members at the time of entry receive ten (10) entries as a membership benefit. Pro membership is not required to enter or win. A member who lapses keeps the entries they received. Limit one entry set per person per Giveaway, counting all methods together; entering through multiple accounts, or any automated, scripted, or fraudulent entry, disqualifies all associated entries.
4a. Free alternate method of entry — by mail, no app and no paid membership
You may receive ten (10) entries — the same number as the most available by any other method — without the app and without a paid membership. A free CHOIL account is still required, because the entries have to land on an account. Mail it however you like — a postcard, or a card or sheet in an envelope — with proper postage. No mechanically produced entries are accepted: no typed, printed, or computer-generated text, no printed or peel-and-stick address labels, no photocopied or mechanically reproduced cards. It must be legible, must name a CHOIL account that exists when it is received, and must be received no later than the day before that Giveaway's drawing.Mail entries go into the same drawing and the same pool as every other entry, with the same chance of winning per entry. Limit one entry set per person per Giveaway, counting all methods together — a mail entry tops your total up to ten (10) entries rather than adding to entries you already hold. Sponsor is not responsible for mail that is late, lost, or misdelivered.
5. Winner selection & odds — must be present to win
The winner is selected by random drawing from all eligible entries, conducted live on a CHOIL livestream announced through Sponsor's channel. The entrant drawn must be present in the livestream audience at the time of the drawing to win. If the entrant drawn is not present, that drawing is void and Sponsor draws again until a present entrant is selected. Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received. Sponsor's records are final and binding on all matters relating to the drawing.
6. Winner confirmation & claim
The winner is confirmed live on stream. Sponsor then sends a private claim link to the email address or phone number on the winner's CHOIL account; a winner may also message CHOIL through the app to claim. Keeping current contact details on the account is the winner's responsibility. To receive the prize, the winner must provide complete shipping details and confirm in writing that they are 18 or older and a U.S. resident. Sponsor may require proof of identity, age, and eligibility before shipping.
7. Prize conditions & lawful receipt
Prizes ship to U.S. addresses only, with adult signature required on delivery. Knives and related items are regulated differently across jurisdictions: by claiming a prize, the winner represents that receiving and possessing it is lawful where they live. Where a prize cannot lawfully be shipped to or possessed by the winner, Sponsor will substitute a prize of equal or greater value. No cash substitution or transfer, except that Sponsor reserves the right to substitute any prize with one of equal or greater value.
8. Taxes
All federal, state, and local taxes on a prize are the winner's sole responsibility. For any prize (or combination of prizes in a calendar year) with an ARV of $600 or more, the winner must complete an IRS Form W-9 before the prize ships, and Sponsor will issue a Form 1099-MISC.
9. Publicity & privacy
Except where prohibited, claiming a prize permits Sponsor to display the winner's CHOIL display name or handle as the Giveaway winner in the app and on choil.app, without further compensation. Shipping details are used solely to fulfill the prize and are handled per our Privacy Policy.
10. General conditions
Sponsor may cancel, suspend, or modify a Giveaway if fraud, technical failure, or any other factor impairs its integrity, and may disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process or violates these rules or CHOIL's Terms & Conditions. Giveaways are governed by Kansas law. These rules are the entire agreement regarding each Giveaway.
