Give your screen a better break.
Choose one mode or let Mix change it every minute. Set the pace, lower the brightness, add a moving clock. No fixed overlays, plus a brief fade to black every two minutes. All included. Orbit needs no account. Sign in to select your vault photos, then play them offline.

Download for Mac ↓Unzip and open CHOIL.saver. Install for your user, then select CHOIL in your Mac's Screen Saver settings. Open Options to choose a mode and photo folder.
For Windows
Windows 10 & 11 · 64-bit
Download for Windows ↓Extract the ZIP, then run Install CHOIL.cmd. In Screen Saver Settings, choose CHOIL, set your idle time, and click Apply. Use Settings for your photos and preferences.
This first Windows build is unsigned; Windows may show an unknown-publisher notice.
A private little gallery.
Sign in on this page to choose photos from your own vault, then import the saved selection in the screensaver’s settings. The saver keeps that selection on your computer for offline playback. A local photo folder is also available. Vault selections work on both platforms. For local folders, Mac also supports HEIC. Up to 500 photos from the selected folder, without subfolders.
Fits into your routine.
Runs as a native system screensaver, including the settings preview and multiple displays. Your system controls idle time and password-on-resume. Keep display sleep enabled, especially on OLED screens; motion and fades cannot guarantee prevention of burn-in.
